Josie has been home a week!

Josie has been home one week and we have already seen so many changes in her.  She is letting her personality shine, and shine she does.  She has begun to let her brothers know that she knows what she wants to do on her own and doesn’t always want them to choose where she goes.  She definitely lets them know not to take away any of her toys.  We might have to have some lessons in sharing at a later point.  When she first came home she would only wince when she got hurt, but never cry.  We have been making sure that we show her affection when she gets hurt, so now when she falls she whimpers just a bit and checks to make sure Mama has seen her before she moves on.  She is still a tough girl but she is starting to want the affection from us, which is great.  She now has some fuzz on the back of her head where it used to be bald from rocking herself.  She almost always lets us rock her completely to sleep now and we barely ever hear her rocking herself anymore.  Yea!  She now loves bath time and cries when we take her out instead of being terrified to get in.  She has become quite the eater and wants to graze all day.  The first few days in Russia she lived on yogurt, applesauce, pedilite, puffs and a bit of baby food.  Her diet has expanded quite a bit.   She is a very happy, smiley girl and her brothers adore her.  We are so blessed to have all 4 of our kiddos.
